University of Houston-Downtown

Located in the heart of the city’s arts community, University of Houston-Downtown is home to a public art collection that highlights diversity, documents Houston’s history and underscores a rich academic student experience. Featuring over 60 unique pieces, the collection is found in hallways, meeting rooms and public spaces in each of the six urban campus buildings.

The University of Houston-Downtown is located in downtown Houston, near I-10 and Buffalo Bayou.

Parking can be found at the UHD Visitor Parking Lot or in the City of Houston’s metered parking lot under I-10 (located across Girard Street). In addition, METRO operates a light rail line that stops on Main Street in front of UHD’s campus.
