Mancuso is a Houston-based sculptor who focuses on commonly found object for mediums, such as plywood and concrete. He transforms everyday items into a thing of beauty and forces the viewer to reevaluate how we view the beauty of ordinary items.  The minimalistic aspect of Mancuso’s work adds an additional architectural element to UHD’s Historic One Main Building. Mancuso received his MFA from Indiana University and his BFA from Colorado State University. His works can be found in collections held by the Museum of Fine Arts Houston, the El Paso Museum of Art, and others.
