Public Art UHS // 02.05.18: In 1998, the University of Houston commissioned Frank Stella, one of the most highly regarded artists of the post-war era, to create a large-scale, multi-part work to be installed inside the university’s new Moores Opera House. In celebration of the 20th anniversary of this monumental artwork, Public Art of the University of Houston System will be presenting “An Evening with Frank Stella,” featuring a discussion with the artist himself on Feb. 9.
