Fuel Our K-12 Field Trips
Public Art of the University of Houston System (Public Art UHS), The Blaffer Art Museum, and the Community Arts Academy are three community-driven institutions within the Kathrine G. McGovern College of the Arts. Through our immersive, interdisciplinary field trips, we open the doors of the university to K-12 students, inviting them into a world of artistic exploration.
Our mission is to ignite curiosity, inspire creativity, and foster lifelong engagement with the arts. We also aim to make higher education attainable by offering many students their first experience with a university campus. When a child steps onto our campus, they are not just visitors. They are future artists, musicians, scholars, and leaders. They are seeing, often for the first time, a glimpse of who they might become.
