Join us for an intimate celebration of the exhibition Dorothy Hood: The Edge of Being, organized by Public Art UHS in partnership with Special Collections, University of Houston Libraries and the Art Museum of South Texas (Corpus Christi). The exhibition is on view at Special Collections.
Remarks and conversation will address Dorothy Hood’s relevance to 20th-century Texas art as well as the University of Houston’s unique position as a significant partner in elevating the artist’s standing within the narrative of modern art.
